my philosophy
Photos capture a time that will never be again. They are moments preserved for you to relive later. To share with your kids, grandkids, best friends, total strangers - whoever fits the bill for you. And if I do my job well, these images will flood your memory with the emotions you felt on this singular day. My hope is that they bring tears of joy to your eyes and make you laugh out loud. It's my honor to be able to give that to you.
I include film in every wedding collection and offer it as an add on to all portrait sessions. Photographers often talk about providing timeless images. For some, these are images with neutral tones or flawless posing. For me, film is timeless. It has obviously stood the test of time. It is imperfect and unpredictable. It is about as real as you can get when it comes to imagery.
And while printed photos seem to be a thing of the past, I believe that photos are meant to be held in our hands. They're meant to touch multiple senses. They are meant to be shared. And as someone who rarely gets around to printing her own personal photos, I refuse to let you do the same. If you never print a single photo from your wedding, you'll at least have what I printed for you.

Where do I even start?!
Photography was one of the first and most important things I researched after we got engaged. I wanted our wedding photography to be super special and from an artistic point of view for all of the amazing moments on our wedding day. I found Ali’s page on the Knot vendor list, and I immediately knew that she was the one! Her love for what she does screams from her work, and I LOVE her artistic point of view... Not only is her work outstanding, she is the sweetest human! Ali makes it so fun and personalized to where it isn’t awkward... With Ali, I truly did not have a single worry about wedding photos before, during, or after the wedding. We are genuinely so appreciative of her and her hard work for capturing our most special day. We cannot wait to use her again in the future. Receiving our album and going through it with my husband is one of our fondest memories along with our wedding day! There truly is nobody else I would rather capture the day, and nobody else I would recommend more. Trust me when I say, she is the photographer you want!

From her previously shooting our brother & sister-in-law's wedding, we knew how beautiful her photos were and how dependable and easy to work with she was so when we got engaged, hiring Ali as our photographer was the first thing we did and it was the best decision!
